Ethan's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Ethan's birthday on Sunday. He had lots of fun opening presents and especially enjoyed his monkey cake, well he liked the cupcakes much better and hardly touched his cake. My favorite was his radio flyer wagon, I have been waiting to get that for him since his last birthday and I'm glad he loved it too.

Having a baby Thursday

I had a doctor's appointment this morning and was told I will be induced on Thursday Oct. 1. I'm terrified, I was hoping that everything would just happen naturally. For those who don't know I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 37 weeks and I am now 39 weeks and too many of my blood sugar readings were too high. They have decided instead of putting me on insulin for the remainder of the pregnancy they would induce and now it is considered a high risk pregnancy. The good thing to come out of all of this is my mom will be flying in tomorrow and staying for 2 weeks. Wish me luck.

Our Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday Ethan!!! Today my little boy is 2. I cannot believe how fast he has grown up. He has definitely entered the terrible two's but he is still a good boy who loves his mommy and daddy and we love him too.

More fun at the lake

Ethan has really enjoyed being out on the boat this summer and is a lot more comfortable in the water, which is good and bad. We didn't actually pull him on the knee board, Elisha is hiding behind him helping him hold on.
