Aliana Turns 1

Polka Dots, pom poms and Minnie Mouse. Aliana's birthday is just 6 days after Ethan. She loved the presents and hated the cake. Grandma was able to be here for the big day and we had lots of fun! We had a Minnie cake in hopes that we will make it to Disneyworld again before we have to leave the East Coast!

Time really flew by with Aliana, it's hard to believe she is 1.

Ethan turns 3

We were lucky to have Elisha's mom fly in the day before his birthday to celebrate with us. Ethan has been on an airplane kick ever since our trip to California so it seemed like a perfect idea for his cake. We had a small celebration with a couple of friends, we had dinner cake and presents. We all had a great time! I still can't believe my little guy has turned 3.

Zach and Sophie's Wedding Day

September 4, 2010- The reason for our California trip was to see Elisha's youngest brother Zach get married. We had a great day, Family fun, eating and dancing! Congratulations to the Happy Couple!

Starship Concert and more

While home my dad was able to get 4 free tickets to see Starship, so he took my sister and I along with him and my mom. They sing Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now the song featured in the movie Mannequin and We Built This City on rock and roll. They put on a great show and we really had a great time.

My mom and dad have been to many concerts over the years and whenever he can he likes to get an autograph. This is my sister getting it for him. My picture with him was not as cute.

Birthday Fun!

For the first time in a long time we were able celebrate Lucas and Alissa's birthday with them! Auntie Gaby even let Ethan get his birthday a month early and lit a candle for him too. After eating our favorite pizza (Round Table) cake and ice-cream we headed to the park. Auntie Gaby bought Ethan a sand pail and couldn't wait to see him use it. Elisha and I were able to get a break while Ethan was entertained by his cousins. The weather here was gorgeous, it was hot but there was always a breeze and no humidity! I had forgotten how nice the Delta breeze is at night, it just cools everything down. It has been a long time since we had been here in the summer we almost forgot how nice the weather could be.

California

We went home to California to see Elisha's youngest brother Zach get married. This was the start of our adventure. This is Ethan's 4th time flying home, but since he is getting older and more restless we decided he needed a DVD player, he was so excited that he could watch his movies on the plane, it was too cute. Both kids did really well at the airport and on the flight, even sleeping most of the way on the second long flight of 5 hours. We had lots of fun visiting with family and some friends! More on our adventure to come!

Ethan was so fascinated by all the airplanes. He loved it!
