Finally crawling

Ethan actually started crawling the first week in July, I just wanted to update. He is crawling a lot better now then what you see in the video, but it was the first time he did it.

Ethan is really good about taking pictures and smiling for the camera, but sometimes he just has to have it. I think it would have been a better picture without it, but I'll take what I can get.

Summer Fun

I recently bought a small inflatable pool for Ethan. I put him in it for the first time today and he loved it.

4th of July Weekend

We had a fun filled weekend. We went to Fantasy Lake and finally got Ethan to like and have fun in the water. We watched fireworks at the local park with friends and Ethan did really well, even falling asleep in the middle of it all. We took the boat out to the lake twice with some friends and wake boarded, knee boarded, skied and went tubing. The only thing I didn't try was wake boarding, but I'll get there soon. Having fun is a lot of work. Here are a few pictures from our weekend.

Congratulations!

A few months ago Elisha received the Bronze Star with Valor from an event that happened while he was in Afghanistan. I took this picture of Ethan congratulating his daddy. I am thankful for all he has done for us and relieved that he won't have to go back, at least not anytime soon.

Ethan

Ethan is 9 months old now, and although he is not crawling yet he is rolling around all over the place. He is getting up on his knees and rocking so I think he's close. Right now he thinks it's fun to throw himself backwards and have us catch him. He also like to lunge forward and roll off the chair in our living room and the bench on the foot of our bed.
